Living in Community: Long-term Supportive Housing

Our Living in Community program focuses on helping people out of poverty and moving them towards independence. The program is a scattered housing model that provides sober, stable, and supportive living where men who were caught in the cycle of homelessness and addiction can have a home. We offer this program in partnership with housing agencies around the city to serve our participants better. We have 187 units all over the Calgary area which provide residents with access to long term case management, addiction counselling, life skills development, as well as help with basic necessities. This program offers an affordable, long-term solution for those vulnerable in our city so that they can continue on their journey towards strong, healthy lives.

“I am so grateful for the opportunity the Dream Centre has given me to make strides towards independent living, while still providing me with the support I need.”

— Joseph, Living in Community program resident
