The Healing Power of Home
Everyone deserves to have a safe and restorative place where they can be themselves. Our housing programs are designed to take some of the stress out of the recovery process and help you get back on your feet by providing you with a supportive and comfortable home base.
Your unique story needs a unique solution. Calgary Dream Centre is committed to providing housing for people leaving addiction, homelessness, and despair behind. We are actively working to create housing solutions so that everyone has a home.
Whether you are in transition or looking for a more long-term way to re-enter the community, the Calgary Dream Centre will help you find an affordable place where you can work on your recovery and build a healthy, sustainable lifestyle.
The first step is to apply for housing through the form below. A Calgary Dream Centre team member will follow up with you to discuss next steps.
Located in our building on Macleod Trail, we offer transitional housing to men who need a safe place to live while working on their recovery.
Each client is given a case manager, access to 12-step meetings, onsite church services and other supports. Meals, linens, and basic toiletries are all included with transitional housing.
Community housing is designed to be more of a long-term solution for those moving away from homelessness and addiction, offering a balance of independence, support, and accountability.
You’ll share one of our community homes with other men or women with similar goals to your own. With affordable community housing, you can work towards your independence one day at a time.
Calgary Dream Centre has affordable community housing for women, allowing for safety, support, and the transformative hope that comes from a stable home.
I was a week out from losing my home when the Dream Centre called to say they had a bed available, and I could move in right away. I started crying on the phone. It was the biggest relief because I finally felt safe.

Through learning different types of skills, we can help you rediscover who you are outside of addiction. We’ll also help you come to terms with the impact your substance use may have had on others.
You’ll be provided with the essentials to properly care for your physical needs, including three square meals a day made using nutritious ingredients, living accommodations in the Macleod Trail building, and all the necessities of daily life like linens, toiletries, and even access to a gym. With all your physical needs met, you’re in a better position to focus on recovery.
As a faith-based organization, we believe that every individual has intrinsic value and deserves to feel loved. That’s why we make a point of providing classes that include spiritual foundations as well as opportunities to meet with a chaplain and access to a faith community and programming.
Calgary Dream Centre’s supportive and community housing programs offer more than just shelter—they provide stability, security, and a fresh start. Every day, we help hundreds of individuals rediscover hope and rebuild their lives in a safe, nurturing environment.

At the CDC, for the first time in a while, I felt safe, cared for, and loved. Having consistent meals and a roof over my head was critical to starting my recovery. With a full stomach and a safe place to rest my head at night, I could finally focus on my recovery. Not too long into the program I began to see real life change take place. I could see my mind, body, and spirit being transformed from the inside out.
After completing the men’s program on May 6th, 2022, I moved into the tower at the CDC. I am proud to say that today I am working as a Recovery Support Worker with the CDC.
I hope that my story will inspire individuals to look past their addictions and to know that recovery IS possible. If I can come from being homeless on the streets and addicted to drugs for over 40 years to working in a treatment centre, I believe that anyone can do it.
The Calgary Dream Centre is saving lives, and what better investment can you make?
